Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

100% Refund

Eligible for: Full reimbursement minus administrative charges

Processing Duration: 5-7 working days

Charges for Processing: £50 for credit card payments

Conditions: Must be requested officially via electronic mail or telephone

24-72 Hours Before the Charter

50% Refund

Qualified for: Half of the full charter cost

Time to Process: 7-10 business days

Fees for Processing: £25 subtracted from the reimbursement

Conditions: Justifiable reason needed; costs for administration applicable

Under 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualified for: No refund possible

Exception: Emergency situations may receive consideration

Alternative: An offer of credit for the charter may be given at discretion of the management

Conditions: Verification required for emergency event claims

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Commitment to Safe Weather Conditions

Ensuring safety comes first. Should the weather be determined unsafe for sailing by our certified captain, we provide adaptable options:

  • Complete Reimbursement: 100% refund when rescheduling isn't feasible
  • Change of Date: You may shift your booking to a subsequent available day without any extra expense
  • Credit for Charter: A credit honored for one year from the initial charter date

Method for Weather Evaluation

Our assessment of weather includes:

  • Evaluation of wind velocity and orientation
  • Assessment of wave amplitude and the state of the sea
  • Predictions of visibility and rainfall
  • Notices and alerts from the Coast Guard
  • Safety assessment by a professional captain

Timing for Decision: Choices regarding weather-related cancellations are made not later than 4 hours prior to the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Scenarios of Emergency

We are sympathetic to the occurrence of medical emergencies. Special considerations may be made for the following situations:

  • Unexpected sickness or accidental injury demanding hospital admission
  • Losing an immediate family member
  • Mobilization for military duty or emergency summons
  • Mandatory attendance as decreed by court or jury service
  • Acts of nature impacting travel possibilities

Required Evidence

For processing requests for emergency refunds, kindly supply:

  • Document of medical certification or hospital records
  • Official death record (if relevant)
  • Orders from the military
  • Court invitation or notification of jury duty
  • Official announcements or advisories concerning travel

Procedure: Refunds for emergencies are handled within 3-5 working days following the provision of the correct documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Issues with Mechanics

If your designated vessel faces mechanical challenges that are unresolved:

  • Replacement Vessel: An effort will be made to arrange a similar vessel
  • Full Reimbursement: Granted if no appropriate alternative is located
  • Partial Refund: Possible if the substitute vessel comes at a different tariff
  • Compensation: Additional forms of compensation might be presented for the inconvenience

Unavailability of the Crew

In exceptional cases where a qualified crew is not available:

  • An attempt will be made to arrange an alternative crew
  • Full reimbursement if the charter cannot go ahead
  • Option to reschedule without incurring added costs

Reimbursements are conducted back to the original method of payment used for the booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Direct Cash/Check: 3-5 business days

£25 fee for all reimbursements done through bank transfer

Charter Credits

Scenarios for Offering Credits

Credits for charters may be presented as an alternative to reimbursements under certain conditions:

  • Late notice of cancellation (less than 24 hours beforehand)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Voluntary requests to change the booking date
  • Interruptions in operations

Terms for Credit

  • Duration of Validity: One year from the date it was issued
  • Right of Transfer: Credits are not transferrable to other parties
  • Monetary Worth: The entire value of the charter (exempt from processing costs)
  • Utilization: Can be redeemed for any future charters that are available
  • Expiration Limit: Credits are not extendable past a twelve-month period

Partial Refunds for Services

Disruptions in Services

Should your charter experience interruptions or be curtailed due to reasons within our authority:

  • A proportionate refund based on the time slot not utilized
  • Credit for an equivalent value for a future charter
  • Amenities or complimentary upgrades

Interruptions Due to Guests

In the event that a charter concludes prematurely because of guest behavior or violations of safety guidelines:

  • No reimbursement for the time slot left unused
  • A requirement for the whole payment
  • Potential for additional surcharges

Resolving Disputes

If you take issue with a refund judgment, options include:

  • Applying for an assessment from our management
  • Supplying further documentation or proof
  • Looking for resolution through consumer advocacy groups
  • Taking legal action as permissible by the law

  • All appeals for refunds should be recorded in writing
  • Regardless of the currency used initially for payment, refunds are performed in £
  • We strongly advise you to consider travel insurance
  • This policy is subject to modifications with a notice of 30 days
  • Reimbursements consider relevant taxes and regulations
